Mr. JAMES McGUIRE
5 Jan. 1889

The many friends of Mr. James McGuire will be pained to learn of his 
death, which took place on Friday morning, after a lingering illness
of more than two years.  Before afflictions overtook him, he was a
prominent business man in East Carroll, and always a good citizen and
honorable in his deealings.  He was a pious Catholic and died in the
cousolation of his religion.
