State of Louisiana Parish of Carroll 

Be it remembered that on the 5th of June A.D. 1866 Robert Mabin of the State 
of Miss. And Miss M.J. Caldwell a resident of said State at the house of M. 
Cassetty’s in Parish of Carroll State of Louisiana personally appeared before 
me W.C. Perris one of the Justice of the Peace in and for the Parish of 
Carroll together with Martin Cassetty, W.A McLemore, Thomas Mabin are 
witnesses of full age in said parish and that these and there the said Robert 
Mabin and M.J. Caldwell having produced the License required by law signified 
their desire and intention before me said justice and said witnesses to be 
vested me the state of matrimony where upon after due proclamation made no 
impediments being suggested they the said Robert Mabin and M.J. Caldwell were 
by me the said Justice of the Peace in presence of said witnesses bound in 
wedlock according to the laws of the State of Louisiana duly pronounced 
husband and wife. 

    In testimony the parties to said marriage here unto offer their signature 
together with the signature of witnesses and my signature Justice of the Peace 
on this the 5th day June 1866 at___  in Parish aforesaid.
