Nelson / E Carroll Parish Certificate No.: none present Marriage License State of Louisiana THIRTEEN DISTRICT COURT Parish of Carroll TO ANY MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL OR JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, legally authorized to solemnize marriage in said Parish and State. You are hereby licensed and fully empowered to unite in Holy Wedlock, Mr W.A Connell and Miss Sedonia Rials agreeably to the usual ceremonies and laws of said State, in presence of three competent witnesses and that you certify the same, signed by the parties together with the witnesses and your official signature and due returns make to my office. Given under my hand and Seal of office, this 11th day of January A.D., 1869 R.K. Connell and Miss Sedonia Rials agreeably to the usual cermonies and laws of said state, in presence of subscribing witness who sign hereto, together with said parties and my official signature. Davis as Security, both residents of the Parish of Carroll, Louisiana, are held and firmly bound unto said State in the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars lawful money of the United States, for the payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs and legal representatives, firmly by these presents, this 11 day of Jan. A.D. 1869 And it is upon this condition, that, that, whereas the above bound W.A Connell has this day applied to the Clerk of the Thirteen District Court, in and for said Parish and State and obtained from him a license to marry Miss Sedonia Rials Now, if within two years from the date hereof,there should not appear to be any legal impediment to said marriage, then the above obligation to be null and void, otherwise to remain in full force.
