That during the years 1863 & 1864 the Federal Troops carried away all the stock belonging to said succession while petitioner was absent from home in the Confederate Army. That petitioner has worked and toiled to the utmost of his ability and with his own means had paid all the debts of the said succession as far as he knows. Further represents that nothing has ever been realized out of the notes against SHAW & LONGMIRE. The lands left by deceased at his death is all that is now left. Petitioner sees no known reason for further Administration as the lands are now in possession of Mrs. Sarah "Sallie" ARTHUR JACKSON, partner in with deed. Therefore petitioner prays that this money be received as the final account for Andrew JACKSON ###acw
