Petition of James A. LEGGITT says "about Nov.26, 1866, his mother, Mrs.
Prudence OSLIN died, leaving a small succession . The undivided 1/2 of
community property between her and her husband, Alanson OSLIN, says
Alanson OSLIN died in 1858, says ther property located on Beoff/Beouf
River. James A. LEGGITT says he is he son of Prudence OSLIN and step-son
of Alanson OSLIN. James LEGGITT asks for an inventory of the estste
Jan.24, 1867-160 acres, bounded on West by Beoff/Beouf River, apprased
at $3 per acre appraisers were: James M. WATSON and Henry MAYNADIER.

My Note- James &ATSON was a Deputy Sheriff and Henry MAYNADIER owned
property NW of Darnell, Louisiana
