Some of the children have not had their parents identified. Also, the relationship of Charlotte Breed to the Browns is not known, however B. M. G Brown and his wife, Charlotte Cobb, named a son John Breed Brown. The inscription on the headstone of Major Reddin Brown Sr. reads "A faithful public servant for a quarter of a century as civil magistrate and as a representative in the State Legislature. Distinguished as a lieutenant and soldier in War of 1812. His natural heirs to mark their sence of his eminent services to the public and as a kind father, have erected this tomb inthe last resting place of the illustrious dead."
