Many family members and friends recently visited Mrs. Winnie Dawson and helped her 

celebrate her 93rd birthday.  Among her visitors were her nephews Frank Nichols, and 

J.H. McNeely; nieces Betty Bricker, Lucille Holly, Willetta Massey, Bessie Palmer and 

Anna Mable Pringle, along with their families.


Irma Nichols, her sister-in-law,from Denham Springs, organized a dinner on Monday. 

Everyone brought dishes of delicious food, and the traditional birthday cake.

Besides her many visitors, she enjoyed telephone calls, long-distance and local 

from her loved ones who were unable to attend.
