Obituary for Lucille Bennett
Mrs. Bennett was a resident of Zachary since 1945 and a native of Baton Rouge. 
She died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at Lane Memorial Regional Medical Center, 
Zachary. She was 91 years old. 

Visiting at First Baptist Church in Zachary on Tuesday, Dec. 26, from 5 p.m. 
to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., 
conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes and Dr. Reggie Bridges. Interment in Azalea Rest 
Cemetery, Zachary. 

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles E. Bennett Jr. and 
Dorothy Lloyd Bennett of Zachary and Daniel P. Bennett and Linda Parks Bennett 
of Central; a brother, Rufus Price, Baton Rouge, six grandchildren, eight 
great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. 

Preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Charles Everett "Nubby" Bennett 
Sr.; son, James Darryl Bennett; and parents, Rufus R. Sr. and Elizabeth 
Raiford Bennett. 

Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 4200 Main St.,
