Ira Curtis Stockstill, 80, a resident of St. Francisville, LA, died on Friday, 
June 27, 2014, at his home. He was a retired member of Pipefitter Local 198. 

Visitation will be at the home of his Godchild, Deborah Duvic and her husband 
David, 5080 Audubon Lane, St. Francisville, on Sunday, June 29, 2014, from 6 
pm until 8 pm and then on Monday, June 30, 2014, at the First Baptist Church 
of St. Francisville from 9 am until funeral services at 10:30 am. Burial will 
be in Feliciana Cemetery in St. Francisville. 

He is survived by his sister Barbara Stockstill Miller and her husband 
Jerry "Buck" Miller of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mabel Stockstill; numerous 
brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be Hunter Duvic, Charles Ray Stockstill, Justin Coley, 
Christopher Rogers, Derreck Groan, and John Hughes Jr. Honorary pallbearers 
will be David Duvic, Pat Stockstill, John "Paw Paw" Hughes, "Buck" Miller and 
Gabe Marchand. 

He was proud to have served in the United States Army Reserve during the 
Korean War.
