Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:3-5. Beloved husband, Dad, Papa Bear, and friend, he died Sunday, June 29, 2014 in Houston, TX. He was 65 years old and a resident of Slaughter. Buddy served the petrochemical industry as a mechanical engineer. Visiting will be on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at First Baptist Church Zachary from 9am until service at 11am conducted by Dr. Reggie Bridges. Burial will be in Azalea Rest Cemetery, Zachary. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 46 years, Rachel Tidwell; daughters, Tiffany Lynne Hubert and husband, Christopher and Lacey Lorehn Tidwell; son, Buddy Tidwell and wife, Janie all of Zachary; 4 grandchildren, Evan Tidwell, Jacob Tidwell, Morgan Hubert, Riley Hubert; a sister, Paula Colbert and husband, John and brother, Brian Tidwell and wife, Cynthia, all of Bossier City, LA.; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rita and Chuck Tidwell. Pallbearers will be Evan Tidwell, Jacob Tidwell, Morgan Hubert, Riley Hubert, Christopher Hubert, Brian Tidwell, Jr., Adam Johnson, Jere Evans, Roy Bankston and RIchy Perry. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Perry, Dr. Terry Rehn, Dr. Bryan Hathorn, Dr. Warren Strickland, Dr. Randy Burns, Dr. Brian Gremillion and Dr. Michael Davis. He was the best Dad ever and was loved by all. He will be especially missed by his puppies. .
