All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** State of Louisiana Parish of East Feliciana Probate Court No. 79 John Gyayle vs Heirs of Caleb Gayle In this Case Amelia Lizenby Wife of William Lizenby having relinquished her rights in and to the Comunity [sic] Property of Caleb Gayle decd and the Said Amelia Lizenby and agreeing to receive an equal portion of the Estate and Cominuty property of the Said deceased With the heirs of Said decd and it appearing that the Whole estate Consists of the Comunity property acquired by the said decd and his widow the Said Amelia Lizenby. It is therefore ordered and judged and decreed that a partition of the comunity property be made among the heirs of Said deceased and the Said Amelia Lizenby in equal shares and that John C. White and John Croft be appointed experts to appraise the property Comparing Said Succession and if the Same Can be divided in kind to place the Same unto Lots as near equal as may be among the heirs of Said decd and the Said Amelia Lizenby and it is further ordered in as much as Robert Wilson one of the Experts appointed in a former decree of date February 13, 1826 from this has refused to act that Said decree be ordered and let order Dec 5th 1826.
