The petition of Alexander McRae of the Parish of Livingston State of aforesaid respectfully represents to your Honor that Daniel McRae late of the parish and state first aforesaid has departed this life having considerable property both movable and immovable. That your petitioner is the brother of the deceased. And further that the deceased left no descendants. That it is necessary that an inventory be made of his property and that some one be appointed to administer the same. Wherefore your petitioner prays that an inventory be ordered and made according to law and that after all necessary delays and formality are first observed that your Honourable court appoint your petitioner administrator of said succession & for general relief.
