LEONARD JOHNSON CEMETERY
Turkey Creek, Evangeline Parish, Louisiana

Turkey Creek is north of Ville Platte on highway 13.  Turn on the Turkey 
Creek Road (cross railroad tracks), go past the gravel pit; there is an old store 
on the left, then turn left on the first gravel road.  This road will wind back in 
the woods and Y.  Turn right at the Y.

There are several mounds that look like possible graves, no markers.  There 
are two concrete covered graves with letters carved in the ends but are 
illegible.

* The grave of Ben Johnson is in a separate fenced area.  This fence joins the 
fence surrounding the other graves.
