Isaac Griffith lived in Bayou Chicot in Evangeline Parish. He moved there from Dover, DE. The transcriptions are of his grandfather's last will and testament & where his father, John Grifftih, was executor over the probate for Isaac's grandfather who was also named John Griffith. Isaac's daughter married Cornelius Tatman who was a nephew of Purnel Tatman who married Isaac's aunt, Barsheba Griffith Tatman. These documents help to bridge the Louisiana family of Griffiths to their roots in Delaware.
