Creamer marykcreamer@yahoo.com April 4, 2019, 8:38 pm source: The Ville Platte Gazette (Ville Platte, Louisiana) Saturday, 30 October 1926, pg. 1 Jobe Attales Dead Jobe Attales, aged about 40, died Monday night at the home of his brother, August Attales a few miles from town, from complications resulting from flu contracted several months ago. Funeral services were held here Tuesday evening and burial, under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity, was in the old cemetery, the Opelousas lodge conducting the ceremonies. Deceased was unmarried and for a number of years was employed in the oil fields of Arkansas. He was a son of the late August Attales Sr., a well known citizen of the parish.
