Creamer marykcreamer@yahoo.com April 5, 2019, 10:53 pm source: The Ville Platte Gazette (Ville Platte, Louisiana)12 November 1921, Saturday, Page 1 Ripe Old Age; Leaves Many Descendants At her residence three miles east of town, on last Thursday evening at 6:40 o'clock, Mrs. Francois Brignac, one of the oldest residents of the parish, died from the infirmities of age, being 96 years, 7 months and 28 days. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church here Wednesday afternoon and the body laid to rest in the old cemetery. Before marriage deceased was Miss Adelaine Vidrine. Her husband died long years ago. She was honored and loved by many friends during her long life and few persons have left as many descendants - 401 living: 6 children, 62 grand-children, 251 great-grand-children, 79 great-great-grand-children, and 3 great-great-great-grand-children.
