Curtis Services Funeral services were held at Ardoin Funeral
Home Chapel in Basile at 4:00 p.m. October 14 for Henry Curtis
80, with burial following in
Basile Protestant Cemetery.

Mr. Curtis, a resident of Basile, died at 6 p.m. Friday, October
12, 1990 at his residence after a short illness.

He was a retired carpenter. 

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Virginia (Dotson) Curtis of Basile; three
sons, Robert Oliver Curtis of New Iberia, James Lawrence Curtis, of Pearland,
Texas and Daniel Lee Curtis of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Patty Bailey of
Sugarland, Texas and Sondra Curtis of Texas; one half-brother, Joe Darbonne of
Mittie; two half sisters, Mary Jo Darbonne and Wanda Sue Darbonne, both of Cedar
Rapids, Iowa and nine grandchildren.

Ardoin Funeral Home of Eunice was in charge of arrangements.
