Maeise Briley Deshotel 
(July 15, 1927 - January 1, 2017) 

VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mrs. Maeise Briley Deshotel, 89, will be 
held at 3:30PM Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with 
burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Fr. Glodd will officiate.

Visitation will be held Tuesday January 3, 2017 from 9:30AM until the time 
of services, with a rosary being recited at 11:30AM.

Mrs. Deshotel a resident of Ville Platte passed away Sunday January 1, 2017 
at Mercy Regional Medical Center.

She leaves behind her loving, husband Aubrey J. Deshotel of Ville Platte; 
sons Justin Deshotel and wife Margaret of Ville Platte, Robert Deshotel and 
wife Gwen of Ville Platte, Aubrey Deshotel Jr. and wife Debbie of Opelousas; 
daughter Michele Saucier and husband Eric of ALexandria; brother Ronald 
Briley of Grand Prairie; sisters Rose Pitre of Ville Platte, Wedia Hargroder 
of Opelousas, Anna Lee Courville of Port Arthur, TX; 8 grandchildren; 4 
great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Lee and 
Clemence Fontenot Briley, brothers Nolan Briley, Tom Briley, Richard Briley.
