Elma Fontenot Dupre 
(September 7, 1929 - August 4, 2009) 

Funeral services for Ms. Elma Fontenot Dupre, 79 will be held 2PM Thursday 
August 6, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Ville Platte with burial to 
follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Reverend Kevin West will officiate. 
Ms. Dupre a resident of Ville Platte passed away 11:20AM Tuesday August 4, 
2009 at Ville Platte Medical Center.

She will be sadly missed by her sons Wayne Dupre of Ville Platte; Kevin 
Dupre of Ville Platte; daughters Bonnie Guillory of Ville Platte; Peggy 
Cavins of Ville Platte; brother Joe (T-Joe) Fontenot of Ville Platte; sister 
Elna Pitre of Ville Platte; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Adelin Joseph Dupre (7-28-
09),grandson Don Dupre, parents Eraste and Emarante Fontenot, brother John 
Fontenot, and sister Eva Comeaux.

Visitation will be held from 5PM-9PM Wednesday August 5, 2009, and will 
resume again Thursday August 6, 2009 from 8AM until the time of services.
