He was laid to rest on Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock,at the family burying ground near Meridian,La. Deceased had been in ill health for about three years,but was confined to his bed for five long months,during which time his suffering was great. He leaves a devoted wife and six children to mourn his loss.The children are as follows: Mrs.James McMahon,Oakdale,La.; Mrs.J.Singley,Clearwater,La.; Mrs.James Townsend,Cheneyville,La.; M.P.Duplissey,Guy,La.; James and Sam Duplissey, Lonepine,La. Additional Comments: His name was Jeremiah Duplissey but he went by the name of Jerry Duplissey.
