Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte

Georgiana Fontenot
May 22, 1933  -  March 21, 2016

VILLE PLATTE- It is with great sadness that the family of Georgiana 
Fontenot, age 82, announces her passing on Monday, March 21, 2016. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 3:30 PM at Our 
Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow 
in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Father Mitchell Guidry, celebrant. 

A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home 
in Ville Platte from 11 AM until 10 PM and will reopen Wednesday morning at 
8 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed in her honor Tuesday 
evening at 6:30 PM. 

A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Georgiana will be 
greatly missed by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Fontenot of Ville Platte, 
sons, Patrick Miller of Ville Platte, Jimmy Miller and wife Vianna of Duson, 
Mike Miller of Baton Rouge, daughters, Debbie Gorman and husband Richard of 
Baton Rouge, Donna Pierce of Ville Platte, brother, Glenn Pitre of Baytown, 
Texas and sister, Etheline Miller of Eunice. Also left behind to cherish her 
memory are her 14 grandchildren and her 30 Great grandchildren. 

She will now reunite in Heaven with her parents, George and Eveline Deville 
and daughter, Rebecca Miller 

Arrangements are entrusted to Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte, La.
