Adeline Ferris Fontenot 
(September 19, 1926 - April 14, 2011) 

VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Ms. Adeline Ferris Fontenot, 84, will be 
held 12PM Saturday April 16, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with 
burial in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery. Father Gene Tremie will 
officiate. 

Ms. Fontenot a resident of Ville Platte passed away Thursday April 14, 2011. 

Adeline and her husband Kage owned Master Cleaners for over 40 years. A 
loving wife, mother, and grandmother she will be missed by her daughter 
Carlene Ortego and husband Gary of Ville Platte; brothers Harold Dupre and 
wife Athalie of Opelousas; Roland Dupre and wife Sadie of Pontchatoula; 3 
grandchildren Angelique O. Litsey and husband Jimmy of Baton Rouge; Bo 
Ortego of Ozark, Missouri; Alanna Ortego of Ville Platte; sister in law 
Odette Ferris; many nieces and nephews; and is preceded in death by her 
husband Kage Fontenot; brother J.D. Ferris; sister Helen Dupre Smith and 
husband Francis; and her parents Joseph D. and Lorena Dupre Ferris. 

Visitation will be held Friday April 15, 2011 from 12PM-9PM with rosary 
being recited at 6PM, and will resume again Saturday April 16, 2011 from 8AM 
until the time of services.
