Resident of Pine Prairie Laid to Rest in Fontenot Cemetery There

Funeral services for Mrs. D. Elton Fontenot, who died at her home Monday 
afternoon, were conducted at the Fontenot cemetery, Pine Prairie, Tuesday 
with a host of friends attending the services.

The deceased was a life long resident of Pine Prairie and much esteemed in 
the community. Surviving her are her husband, her father and mother, Mr. and 
Mrs. Don Diego Fontenot, one daughter, Doris, 11; one brother, Chester 
Fontenot, Pine Prairie, and one sister, Mrs. Artile Deshotels, Reddell.
