Deaths
ADAM GUILLORY
(Special to The Town Talk)

VILLE PLATTE, La. - Funeral services for Adam Guillory, 84, were held 
Thursday, Nov. 12 at 3:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic church, Msgr. J. 
Maurice Bourgeois officiated.

Guillory a retired farmer and lifelong resident of this community suffered 
an attack Monday evening and fell on the gas heater from which he received 
severe burns. He died at his home, route two, at 5 p.m. Thursday.

He is survived by five sons, Willis Guillory, Ville Platte, Forrest 
Guillory, New Orleans, Addison Guillory, Charlton Guillory, and Eduis 
Guillory, all of Ville Platte, three daughters, Mrs. Cora Ortego, Ville 
Platte, Mrs. Simon Fontenot, Oberlin and Mrs. Ebree Fontenot, Ville Platte, 
five brothers, Zenon Guillory, Reddell, Arthur Guillory, Pine Prairie, Homer 
Guillory, Avie Guillory and Hillard Guillory, all of Reddell, two sisters, 
Mrs. C. Beauregard, Reddell and Mrs. Joe Stelly, Beaumont Tex; 15 
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Old Town cemetery under direction of Ardoin as eer ewrr t 
mrf kok krd kqd (sic) Funeral home. Pallbearers were the five sons.
