Harmonson Dead John H. Harmonson, well known citizen of Opelousas and chairman of the St. Landry parish exemption board, died Monday night and was buried Tuesday in the Catholic Cemetery at Opelousas. Mr. Harmonson is said to have been in poor health for some time, though the attack from which he died occurred Saturday afternoon last. As chairman of the exemption board he remained at his post to the last, saying "I have a duty to perform here." Mr. Harmonson was one of the best known notaries and abstract men in Southwest Louisiana. He was of pleasing address and widely and favorably known. He had a host of friends here who regret his untimely death.
