Mrs. Audre Jeansonne, nee Miss Alida Guillory, aged 40 years, died at her 
home on December 17, and was buried in the Catholic cemetery here on the 
following day.

Mrs. Jeansonne had been in poor health for a number of years and about six 
months ago was operated upon.  Being stricken with measles she suffered a 
relapse, from which she died.  Though married for 22 years she never had 
any children of her own but reared two orphans.  She was a member of the 
Ladies' Altar Society and an excellent woman.  She leaves a mother, a 
sister, four brothers and husband to mourn her loss.
