March 4 - Homer Karl Jobes, 29, of Eunice, died at Ville Platte Monday morning at 2 o'clock. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and the body will lie at the Hixson funeral home, Lake Charles, until hour of the funeral. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery in Lake Charles. Mr. Jobes, an oil field worker, was a native of St. Joseph, Mo. He was a member of the Catholic church. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Ruth Jobes of Lake Charles and two daughters, Magdalene Marie and Anna Faye; his father Frank Jobes of St. Joseph, Mo., his mother, Mrs. H.J. Feahring of Los Angeles; and two brothers, Lee and Russell, both of St. Joseph, Mo.
