Funeral Rites In Pine Prairie- PINE PRAIRIE - Funeral services were held at 2 
p.m. Monday in St. Peter Catholic Church for Homer Leger, 81, retired farmer of 
Pine Prairie, who died at Savoy Memorial Hispital, Mamou, at 5 a.m. Sunday. 
Burial was in the church cemetery, directed by Ardoin Funeral Home.

Survivors are six sons, Horace and Calvin Leger, Turkey Creek; Edward, Ilford 
and Ulysse Leger, all of Houston, Tex.; and Lewis Leger, Beaumont, Tex.; a step-
son, Elton Guillory, Turkey Creek; three daughters, Mrs. Liza Joubert and Mrs. 
Alice Rider of Beaumont, and Mrs. Laurie Brazille of San Jose, Calif; one 
brother, Joseph Leger, Fannett, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Hosea Ardoin, Pine 
Prairie; Mrs. Alida Lejeune, Fannet, Tex.; and Mrs. Ulysse Lejeune of Vill 
Platte.
