DALLAS ORTEGO - Funeral services were at 10 a. m. Friday in Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for Dallas Ortego, 71, of Ville Platte, who died Wednesday, 
Sept. 26 at 3:30 p. m. at his residence following a short illness.

Burial was in the Sacred Heart mausoleum directed by Ardoin's Funeral Home 
of Ville Platte.

Survivors include his wife, Mattie Veillon Ortego of Ville Platte; a son, 
Barney Ortego pf Ville Platte; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Melba) David of 
LaBelle, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Ollie Mae Soileau of Ville Platte; and two 
children.
