DIED

At the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ben Lafleur, with whom she was 
making her home, Mrs. Emile Ortego passed away about
midnight between Monday and Tuesday from the infirmities of old age, 
being 80 years, 4 months and 25 days old.

Interment was in the old cemetery late Tuesday evening.  Fathery Savy 
conducting the funeral services and a large concourse
of sorrowing friends and relatives attending.

Mrs. Ortego was one of the town's oldest inhabitants and was held in high 
esteem by the entire community.  She leaves a large number of descendants 
and personal friends to mourn her departure.
