Billy Don Rose 
November 15, 1929 - January 26, 2017

VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mr. Billy Don Rose, 87, will be held at 
11AM Saturday January 28, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial 
to follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.Fr. Glodd will officiate.

Mr. Rose a resident of Ville Platte passed away Thursday January 26, 2017 at 
Savoy Medial Center in Mamou. He was a past grandmaster of the Masonic 
Lodge.

He will be missed by his loving family, wife Georgia Lee Rose of Ville 
Platte; sons George Anthony Rose and wife Christie of Watauga, TX, Paul 
Wayne Rose and wife Anna of Ville Platte; daughters Betty Lafleur and 
husband Ervin of Ville Platte, Shirley Rider of Ville Platte, Jannette Rose 
of LeCompte; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in 
death by his parents George Griffin and Florence Whittington Rose and 
brother O.C. Rose.

Visitation will be held Friday January 27, 2017 from 11AM-9PM, with a rosary 
being recited at 6PM, and will resume again Saturday January 29, 2017 at 8AM 
until the time of service.
