Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte

Roland Veillon
August 28, 1942  -  February 25, 2017

Ville Platte – A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, 
February 27, 2017 for Mr. Roland Veillon at Ardoin Funeral Home's Chapel. 
Father Taj Glodd will officiate the service.

Mr. Roland Veillon, age 74 and a resident of Ville Platte, passed away on 
Saturday, February 25, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family. 

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home 
of Ville Platte on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 1:00 p.m until service 
time on Monday, February 27, 2017. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Brenda Johnson Veillon; sons, 
Blake Veillon and wife Phyllis and Todd Veillon and wife Christa; daughter, 
Amanda Veillon Fontenot and husband Mitch; sister, Marjorie Castoria; 
grandchildren, Michelle Veillon, Megan V. Guillory and husband Steven, Heidi 
Beth Veillon, Nicholas Veillon, Regan Fontenot, Erin Fontenot, Reese 
Fontenot and Kali Fontenot; and great-grandchildren, Ryan Hull, Hayden 
Guillory and Sammie Guillory. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugia and Dora Veillon; brothers, 
L.D. Veillon and Rodrick Veillon; and sisters, Lena Courville and Mary 
Prudhomme.

The family has entrusted Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte with 
arrangements. (709 W. Main St. Ville Platte, LA 70586)
