He grew up near Lonepine in Evangeline Parish. His parents were Jeremiah (Jere) Duplissey and Louisiana Jane Walker Duplissey. He worked all over the state in the timber business. Finally settled in Oakdale, Louisiana at the Hardwood Sawmill. He died in the hospital in new Orleans. Lou was born in Evangeline Parish. Her parents were Joseph Clark and Clara Henry.She died in Oakdale. They are both buried in the Oakdale Cemetery in Oakdale, Louisiana. Additional Comments: Bud and Lou Duplissey only had one daughter, Leota Duplissey. She married Elmer (Lanky) Seals. Lanky and Leota ran the Western Auto Store in Oakdale for many years.
