This is a picture of the tombstone of John David Elliott in Cedar Grove 
Cemetery in Pine Prairie, Louisiana. He was the husband of Sarah Caroline West 
Elliott. His parents were Oran Elliott and Mary Melinda Henry Elliott. 

Additional Comments:
He was called David Elliott. He was born in Pine Prairie in Evangeline Parish, 
Louisiana. All of his 12 children were born in Pine Prairie. About 1917 he 
moved his family to the community of Centerville in Evangeline Parish. He lived 
there until he died in 1937.
