King estate. Approximately 200 graves are all sunk in and the graveyard is unrecognizable. There is one tombstone left standing . The graveyard has probably existed since the early 1800’s. The last know person to be buried here was in 1916. The cemetery is located along what was once a well traveled Mule road but even the road has all but been erased by the growth of trees. The road once connected Big Creek in Richland Parish with the New Zion Community. According to memories and documents, members of the King, Johnston, Brannon, Carter, Wiggins, Robinson, Brown, Tucker, Woolridge, Lewis and possibly Guimbellot families are probably buried here. Visible Tombstone: D.F. Wiggins Dec.25,1851 –Jan. 23,1912
