Whitney) Outside this fenced cemetery is a broken tombstone leaning against the fence that reads: IN MEMORY OF Mary A Davis, b 10-5-1850 - d 1-20-1855 Mrs. Bunt Desha Kosmac told and interesting story about the grave of Robert Hume-Native of Scotland. Mr. Hume came to the United States from Scotland and worked on the farm of Mrs. Kosmac's grandparents at Extension, LA. In later years he returned to his native land. The Kosmacs provided funds for the trip to Scotland and his return to LA. He lived his remaining life on the farm and upon his death, the Kosmac family buried him in the family cemetery.
