The Guice family were early settlers in the parish. Spelling of the name from Guise to Guice changed during the latter part of the 19th century. No tombstones are left. Across the field from the cemetery is a slave cemetery, but, there are no tombstones. Mrs. Rebecca Guice provided name of people buried in cemetery. Moses S. Guise, born 1808 - died ca. 1872.
