HENDRY CEMETERY



This well-kept cemetery is located near the back yard of Mrs. Lavelle McCain's 

home in the New Zion Community out from Winnsboro, LA.  It has been said that about 200

or more people are buried in this cemetery.  There are only a few markers left.  Many

markers were destroyed and wooden crosses deteriorated with age.  Mr. McCain 

fenced in part of the cemetery.  Copied July 21, 1984
