Mixon Cemetery



The location of this cemetery is 14 miles northeast of Baskin, LA on the 

Delhi-Baskin Hwy 132.  You can reach it by travelling from Winnsboro LA

on Hwy 17 towards Delhi, LA.  Hwy 132 turns left after you pass the

village of Crowville.  The land for this cemetery was homesteaded by the

Mixon Family.   Copied April 20, 1984 

 

Anthony W (Windom) Mixon, b 11-16-1826 in SC. d  12-15-1876 in

Baskin, Franklin Parish, LA.   Married 12-15-1853 in Milladgeville, GA.

 

Sarah C. Gibson Mixon,  b 10-26-1834  -  d  6-21-1920

 

Clara Virginia Dunham, Daughter of E A (Alex) Dunham & Sarah (Sallie) 

Mixon,  b 5-13-1889  -  d 8-31-1904

 

Infant Dunham,  b  6-11-1894  -d  6-17-1894

 

Eunice Elizabeth Dunham, b  8-3-1898  -  d  11-15-1918

Married to Beulah Dixon

Daughter Marie Dunham was born 5-21-1916

 

Lee Dunham was the last person interred in the Mixon Cemetery.  There 

was no marker on his grave.
