This abandoned cemetery is located off Hwy 17 before you get to

Crowville, LA  It is on the right side of the highway and to the right of

the driveway of Mr/Mrs Don McDuffie.  Copied Sept 11, 1984

 

Susan H, Wife of J. R. Sturdivant, b-8-29-1829  -  d 4-10-1889

 

Marcie Ann, Wife of J. F. Sturdivant,  b-7-13-1832  -  d 10-3-1895

 

J. F. Sturdivant,  b  10-1-1820  -  d 10-30-1899

 

There are other sunken graves but no markers.  One other marker was

so broken it could not be read.
