Small, while on the road from Winnsborough to the Ouachita River. Mr. Small has been a resident of Franklin parish for a number of years, and was highly esteemed by the good and respectable portion of its citizens. He was known during the late war as an uncompromising Union man, and took an active part during the last election in favor the Constitution and of the success of the Republican ticket.
