RICHLAND.
[From the Delhi Chronicle.]

Our curiosity was excited last Monday morning by the mysterious
movements of a squad of armed men, who rode into town and silently
dispersed themselves about houses, closely scrutinizing the features of
the people, and upon inquiring what it meant, we were informed that Dick
Fuller had shot a man by the name of Truit on the day before, down on
Big Creek in Franklin, inflicting a mortal wound in the abdomen, from
which we learn he died on Monday night.  They did not find the fugitive
here, and we presume he has made his escape.
