John Julius Jones  was born in Laurel Miss. Aug.2,1882 

and died in Winnsboro (Egypt Community) Jan. 21,1970. 

He is buried in the Harris Cemetery. 



Willie Mae Alexander Jones was born in (I believe) Tensas Parish 

in Oct.29,1888 and died in the King's Nursing home 

Apr.27,1970 in Winnsboro. She is also buried in Harris Cemetery. 

They were married Oct.25,1903, in Tensas or Franklin Parish. 

  



This photo was taken at the home place farm,  located on a little 

loop lane off , what is now known as, the Lowwater Bridge Road, in 

the Egypt Community. They had seven children that lived after birth. 

Their names are; Ruby Bell (Donnell), Lois (Vines), Annie Mae (Robinson), 

Bessie Lucille (Williams Rushing), Buddy, Edward, and Frank Alton.
