Robert Henry Moore (b. 11 October 1862 in Winnsboro, La. 

d. 8 January 1934 in Winnsboro) and his wife Lydia 

Evelyn McVay (b. 2 September 1883 in Franklin County, Miss.; 

d. 21 July 1911 west of  Gilbert).  If 

this is a wedding portrait, as seems likely from the ring 

visible on her  finger, it can be 

dated as 1905.  "Bob" Moore worked as a sawmill engineer and lived 

at the time near Captain Steele's shingle mill several miles west of Gilbert.
