Mrs. Sallie Elise Ramage was the school principal and she was assisted by her mother, Mrs. Charles Moore Ramage. Board for the students, was $7.50 per month. English classes were $2.50 per month, French and Latin $3.50 per month. For $4.00 per month, one could receive two music lessons per week. Shorthand was 25 cents per lesson and painting 35 cents per lesson. The Kinloch institute continued for about fifteen years until The first Public school was started in Winnsboro.
