Virginia Scott Was Murdered Says Coroner
 
In regard to the death of Virginia Scott, negro woman, formerly of 
Franklin Parish who was killed sometime ago the coroner's jury
wishes to announce that a verdict of murder by an unknown party
or parties has been rendered.
The body of the above named woman was found near Ash
Slough in north Winnsboro on December 16. She had, beyond any
reasonable doubt, come to her death through foul play.
The party or parties who committed the act is or are at large.
