It was the priviledge of this writer to be associated with him for two years and during that time I could speak of him as always being a loving Christian boy. We do not understand why God in His providence and love would call one away so much esteemed and loved by all who knew him, for "To know him was to love him". Those who knew him best loved him the most because of the sweet and gentle life he led. Whe we reach the sunny banks of sweet deliverance, we will then know why God has dealt with His people. Weep not for him, loved ones. Our loss on earth is heaven's eternal gain. It is sad to say our last farewell, for no more will we see his bright face or hear his gentle voice, until we meet him in the paradise of God. (Written by Mrs. R. L. Adams) Submitter's note: He was buried in Ogden Cemetery. -------------------------------------------------- ******************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, April 18, 1940 Submitted March 2009 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Gilbert Man's Life Ends At His Home Friday Afternoon A lingering illness took the life last Friday of Alexander T.
