Tucker ******************************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA December 18, 1941 Submitted September 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Stephen Taylor McDonald Final Rites Conducted For Wisner Resident Funeral services were held at Holly Grove church Tuesday morning for Stephen Taylor McDonald, resident of Wisner, who died at his home there Sunday. Interment followed in Holly Grove cemetery. The Rev. John McLemore officiated at the services, assisted by the Rev. J. M. Alford and the Rev. Mr. Cunningham. First National Funeral home of Winnsboro was in charge. Mr. McDonald is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dovie Batey and Mrs. Lola Humble, Wisner, and Mrs. Annie Crowell, New Orleans; two sons, A. C. McDonald and J. C. McDonald; and a brother, A. J. McDonald, of Harrisonburg. ********************** Obituary: C. B. Tucker Submitted by: Richard B. Tucker, 69, well-known resident of the parish, who succumbed the previous day. Burial was in the family cemetery near Como, with the Rev. Jack Midyett, pastor of the Gilbert charge of the Methodist church, officiating. Among survivors are: His wife, Mrs. Kate Osborn Tucker; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Brocato of Gilbert, Mrs. A. C. Duchesne of Baskin and Mrs. Wilma Harris of Baton Rouge; two sons, W. G. Tucker, in the U.S. Navy, and Curtis Tucker of Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Richard Lynch, New Orleans, and a brother, Dennis Tucker, Dunn.
