A. Dempsey. Funeral services and interment were under the direction of the First National Funeral home Sunday afternoon in Louisville, Miss. Jesse Hall Military Funeral Held for Victim of Bomber Crash Military services for Sergeant M. Jesse Hall of Gilbert, who was killed in a bomber crash near Elk, California, last Friday, were conducted at the Central Baptist church near Wisner Tuesday. A special detail from Selman field, Monroe, participated in the ceremonies. Interment was made in the Central cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral home. Sergeant Hall would have been 19 years old last Saturday. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m., at the Gilbert Methodist church, with the Rev. Collins, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Jno. R. Campbell, pastor of the First Baptist church of Gilbert. Burial, under the direction of the First National Funeral home of Winnsboro, will be in Holly Grove cemetery. Mrs. Pierce is survived by two sons, Carl Pierce, Camden, Ark., and Joseph Harrington of Winnsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Allen Freeman, Foxworth, Miss., Mrs. Will Waller, Gilbert, and Mrs. D. F. Ross Fall Is Fatal to Baskin Man Funeral services were conducted at the Coax church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock for Robert S. Ross, who was killed in a fall from a Galveston, Tex., hotel last Thursday. Interment followed in the Coax cemetery under the direction of the First National Funeral home. Ross, a carpenter of Baskin and Mangham, had been working at the Todd-Galveston dry docks for four or five months. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Jimmy Dale and Robert Mack; two daughters, Maxine and Betty Jane, all of Mangham; four brothers, W. B. Religious services were conducted at the Liddieville-Beouf (sic Boeuf) River Baptist church with interment in the Liddieville cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral home. Mrs. Tarver, who was born near here December 14, 1893, and lived all her life in Franklin parish, is survived by her husband, J. H. Tarver; four children, Alvin Tarver, who is overseas in service, Ramage Tarver, Calvin McKinzey and Mrs. Stella Troha, all of Winnsboro; two half sisters, Mrs. Sue Comeaux and Mrs. Katie Carroll, and three brothers, Dempson Carroll, Frank Carroll and Charlie Carroll, all of Winnsboro.
