Mrs. Linnie Morris

Morris Rites Are Held in Manifest

Mrs. Linnie Morris, 93, a resident of Jonesville and mother of Jim Morris of Winnsboro, 
died Friday morning in a Ferriday sanitarium following injuries of the hip and arm. The 
funeral was held Saturday in the Huffman cemetery, Manifest, the Rev. T.J. Ratcliff of 
Liddieville officiating. Interment was under the direction of Hixson Funeral home of Jena.
Mrs. Morris leaves five sons and one daughter: Jim Morris, Winnsboro; Winson and Robert Morris, 
Jonesville; Bill Morris, Rhinehart; Jack Morris, Jena; and Mrs. Julia West of Oak Grove. She also 
leaves 39 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
